Turkish Contemporary Spa Bath
Objective: Create a luxurious spa bath environment, maximizing the square footage, and adding light to this enclosed condo space.
By removing the chunky tub deck and small dark shower, we were able to expand the usable and visual space.
For finishes, the designer chose accents of Turkish marble mosaic as decorative “windows”, while LED-bordered electric mirrors “wash” the mosaic tiled walls.
LED lighting below custom floating cabinets provide lighting balance, as well as an unobtrusive night light.
This bath of stone and light has a heightened sophistication with Calacatta Gold marble which waterfalls into the expanded shower area.
The Hero of the design is the overhead tub filler providing the perfect stream of water into the sculptural tub.
