The focal point of this entire project is the large water feature centered off of the rear of the home. A large raised stone patio overlooks the 2-tiered koi pond where water spills over the edge from the upper basin into the lower pond. From the raised patio the visitor can walk down a set of stairs and be immersed into the landscape. There is also a small viewing patio that overlooks the upper koi pond and looks back towards the home. Shade-loving plants were installed around the perimeter of the patios and water feature to help soften the hardscape.
