Leather in Manhasset
Addressing diverse challenges in this kitchen project involved meticulous planning for new construction. The client's extensive appliance list, including a separate fridge, freezer, large wine fridge, 2 sinks, pot filler, and a farm sink, required careful integration while maintaining a contemporary-transitional vibe. Lighting placement, especially around tall walls and the sink area, presented additional complexities. Collaborating with a realtor client added the task of creating an open, unique, and marketable space that avoids overly personal touches. The island became a focal point with a Skara Brea quartz countertop, featuring a bold wave-like movement. The cabinetry, designed with a faux leather look, and polished nickel hardware further enriched the aesthetic. Balancing these elements and ensuring a cohesive design showcased the intricacies of achieving a harmonious yet distinctive kitchen space.
