This is a small living room refresh for an Austin home. We refinished and retiled the fireplace, giving it a bold deep blue hue and geometric patterned tiles, making it the focal point in the room. The gold sunburst mirror above the fireplace is the highlight of that wall. We added custom wood shelves to balance out the wood wall and provide additional storage for family photos, books, showpieces, and other decorative items. We replaced the plain rug with a lighter patterned one. Modern furniture and accessories include the pair of cream chairs complemented with blue toned throw pillows, poufs in the same blue, and elegant table lamps, were introduced to modernize and brighten up the space.
