The goal of this project was to make this front entry feel welcoming and inviting while maintaining privacy. We wanted to maintain a sense of excitement as you approach the house, and everything we built supports that idea. We built a set of steel stairs near the parking area and covered then in grass so they would blend in with the surrounding greenery but still add utility. These connect to a gravel pathway that winds through the yard and away from the entry.

As you approach the house, the path turns back through the flower beds towards the front door. A limestone paver patio surrounded by swaths of native grasses and perennials allows this family to feel as comfortable out front as they would in the back yard. A later phase 2 with additional plantings will fill in this vision.
