Mahogany Library

This beautiful 2-story room was a challenge with a huge reward. The warmth and character engulf the visitor immediately and infuse them with calm and comfort. Designed by Wright Currie of Summer Classics this room was built by Quartersawn in 8 weeks.

Upper Balcony - The 3-sided balcony offers access to several rooms and lots of open shelves. Note the coffered ceiling that brings the 4 walls together to make a majestic space.

Main Focus - The sunlight comes through leaded glass windows that stretch up 18' to the coffered ceiling.

Pilaster and Panel - From the heavy cove molding down to the fluted pilasters the detail of the design works to create the overall character of the room.

Bookshelves - This library invites you to disappear into a book, relax in front of the fire, or enjoy the big game in style. The room also offers access to a blue-stone patio just outside.
