Vintage glass panes, with bubbles, used in the new china cabinet doors were salvaged from the original house windows (replaced with energy efficient windows).

Splash behind range is made of Aluminum Tiles in 3 different finishes. Other backsplash is made of the counter limestone.

Floors throughout the first floor are irregular width planks sawn from pine beams salvaged from a warehouse in Boston that was demolished. Their only finish is tung oil. Nail holes were mostly left unfilled. Radiant heat supplied from PEX tubing under the floors.
