Major bathroom remodel with bath to shower conversion
A 1960's master bathroom with numerous modern features. This installation included custom built stained cabinets with soft close hardware, and a bathtub to walk-in shower conversion. The new shower drain was moved to center and the faucet water supplies were relocated to the opposite wall to eliminate stepping into or reaching into the shower around the toilet to turn on or adjust water temperature. The shower door is a hydro rail 3/8" frameless glass design in brushed nickel with a fixed right side panel. This shower includes a 100% waterproof Kerdi shower pan and walls which carries a 10 year warranty. Floor and walls are tiled in 12x24 large format porcelain and Kerdi ditra room floor underlayment to isolate an existing and potential future slab cracks from transferring to the tiled floor. The toilet was replaced with a Toto elongated ADA height, dual flush with a soft close lid featuring a hidden trap way. design. The walls and ceiling sheetrock were replaced to eliminate unneeded ceiling drop downs and were updated with new new orange peel texture throughout. A new high output exhaust fan and LED lighting were also incorporated to finish off this extensive remodel that will last for many years to come.
