Renovation of and addition to a mid-century modern home in a beautiful Los Angeles canyon. The house, which had excellent "bones", needed a refresh to accommodate a young family. Changes included opening up the kitchen, creating a new family room and dining space, adding a laundry room, and re-imagining the bedrooms and baths to serve a family of four. The new spaces connect to each other and to the rear yard and pool in classic California style.
