Manly Project
Manly Project entered in Master Builders (MBA) and Housing Industry (HIA) Association Excellence in Housing Awards.
This first floor addition was designed by our leading Architect and Building Design Consultant, Darek Szymanski. It is a beautiful example of the modern Hampton's style and comprises a first floor addition of 2 large bedrooms, 1 with built in robe and ensuite, the main bed with a walk in robe and ensuite and also a large sitting room. All the rooms have access to tiled balconies at the front and rear of the property that look over the Manly area. The upstairs floors are all finished in wide Tallowood tongue and grooved boards and the staircase has Maple treads and painted risers with Maple Balustrade for an extremely appealing finish . The windows are all Western Red Cedar with colonial bars. Decorative plaster cornices and Vertical vee jointed wall panelling have been used aesthetically throughout the first floor addition. We replaced the existing roof and guttering and the new roof is Lutum- Designer Ceramic Shingle tiles. The exposed eaves and balcony ceiling are lined with Vee jointed lining boards. The weatherboard style cladding used is Hardies Linea weatherboards. The final result is a beautiful 2 storey Hampton's style home that we are very proud to have our name associated with.
