The retired homeowner's plan to live in their ranch home as long as possible and were not satisfied with their master bathroom. They wanted a redesigned luxury master bathroom to make the space more modern in style and more functional for two people. They want to be able to age gracefully, but have a universal design that would add resale value to their home. The couple did not have a specific design in mind. However, their requirements were to eliminate the large soaking jet tub that the couple was having difficulty getting in and out of. Additionally, they wanted to eliminate the surround walk-in shower and replace it with a tiled-minimal curb shower. Lastly, they wanted to expand their single vanity into a double vanity, have heated tile floors, and a heated towel bar.
