We had sustained water damage to a bedroom due to an improperly flashed roof. Damage included saturated sheeting with the roof. Paul came over within a day of my call. He reviewed the situation and gave us a reasonable estimate. Paul was great in collaborating with our insurance adjuster to ensure that everything was included and covered. Paul and his crew were very thorough in ensuring that there was no mold that needed to be remediated before closing up the wall. The roof repair was completed in one day which was amazing considering the extent of the sheeting that needed to be replaced. Paul was also attentive in matching the shingles. His crew was very thoughtful in keeping the interior work are clean. Will definitely call Welhouse Construction for any future remodeling project or home repair.

We have been working with Welhouse Construction since 1989 for various projects in our home. First, a new 4 seasons' 18' x 18' additional room, which became our 'spa' room--this also created an outdoor small deck area to our patio. Then, we completely remodeled our kitchen, which became a larger project than originally expected, as Dave Welhouse offered some great suggestions to enhance to look, one by adding a skylight and raising the ceiling. From there, we had Welhouse Construction had a skylight in our upper hallway. As the years moved forward, we decided to redo our master bathroom, and again, called upon Welhouse Construction to do this project. We felt so confident in their work, that we actually left them to complete the project and went on vacation for 6 weeks! We came home to a beautiful bathroom, which won Welhouse Construction the 2014 Fox Valley NARI Level Best $20,000 and Over award. They also helped with an upgrade on our main bathroom. Not to be finished, we contracted them to put on a new roof. We could not be more happy with all the work we have had them do to our house over the past 29 years! We feel like they are extended family, and if we can find another project, we would definitely call on Paul and his team!

Paul Welhouse and his team provided the utmost in Customer Service. Follow-up and follow-through on steroids. Paul personally responded to emails and phone calls, sometimes within minutes, but always by days end. Unbelievable in this day and age. Without question or hesitation would retain Welhouse Construction again. We were completely satisfied with the end result. Excellent workmanship with entire project.

Welhouse did a complete remodel of our kitchen. The process was easy and they provided excellent help along the way. They showed up when they were scheduled and were efficient and professional. We loved the results and get many compliments on the finished product from friends and neighbors. Because of this experience we had Welhouse replace our windows. Once again they were on time and professional.

I can't say enough positive things about this company and its owner and crew. The level of detail, craftsmanship and expertise is remarkable. They care so much about the quality of work they do, not just about getting it done, but getting it done right. We've had them do several projects for us, including a rebuild of a second-story deck, an entire kitchen/dining room renovation, and most recently installing all new windows on our 1940s hoe. I trust them completely with projects large and small, and rely on them to give me sound advice.

My wife and I hired Welhouse Construction to extensively remodel our master bathroom after looking at several different companies. The owner, Paul, was involved in the entire process from the beginning to the end. We felt like he had our best interests in mind. When you remodel only once in your lifetime, everything is first-time -- so not only is it important to have crew with great skills, but also important is the manner in which they work. After we had a horrific storm that took down a large tree that landed on our house we called Welhouse Construction because we were familiar with the family. Had heard of there outstanding fair pricing and work ethic. They immediately came out and gave us an estimate, a very fair estimate. Of course we were more than happy to have them do the work. My husband and I were very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to call them again, not only for storm damage but for any projects we decide on in the future.

Kitchen Remodel In late 2015 we decided it was time to give our 11 year old condo a face-lift and not only remodel the kitchen but try to enhance its overall functionality by changing the galley kitchen into a working kitchen with a large island…which also meant removing a small wall. We interviewed several contractors and got competitive quotes from 5 different contractors. From the first time he visited out home we could tell his attention to detail, his years of experience and knowledge were superior. The project was completed on time AND within budget with NO significant changes to the bottom line (unless it was something new that WE added to the scope of the project). As with any remodel, unexpected items popped up here and there but Paul was always very responsive, communicative and resolved any minor issues in a professional and very timely manner. Bottom line, we are thrilled and would not hesitate to use their services again! PS...LOVE the Cambria counter-tops!

We wanted to remodel our master bathroom and had some idea of what we wanted. We hired Welhouse Construction Services, LLC to bring those plans to fruition. We were presented with different plans for the remodel and chose the one that best fit our needs. The original bath was completely gutted down to the studs. We went from a one sink vanity and a small acrylic corner shower to a custom made double sink vanity with tower, an eight foot two person tiled shower with rainheads and two shower columns with multifunction handshowers. We also have a heated tile floor and heated towel bar. Our master bath is now a beautiful "spa". When the construction began Welhouse Construction had a calendar so that we knew what was going to happen on what day. We were always apprised of any changes. Everyone was very professional and responded to any questions that we may have had. Definitely would recommend Welhouse Construction Services, LLC.
