This McLean couple just purchased their dream home. This is where they plan to raise their family for a very long time. The builder gave them a very plain landscape and a yard that was not very usable.

The key goals were:

1. Increase usable lawn space,
2. Improve the drainage,
3. Create a back patio for small gatherings and grilling,
4. Bring in Specimen plantings and Accent Boulders with character,
5. Build a front yard wall that matches the home and creates a level planting bed to the left of the front door.


The end result was a much improved landscape that is more eye catching and functional. The flat and therefore usable space is increased and the low-voltage lighting really separates this house from the rest in the neighborhood.
