Modern Entry
This project was a great transformation to the entry and front facade of a home in Oakton, Virginia. We were very lucky in that this home had the flexibility to follow a traditional and/or modern home. This client wanted a more simplistic and contemporary approach. Together, we found a plan that reached both the budget and style that the client was looking for. This was a fun one.
The key goals were:
1. Create a more simplistic and modern entry to the front of the home,
2. Minimize the impact of the sloped front yard as it relates to the entry of the home,
3. Create a fairly low-maintenance plan with four season interest.
The result was a really neat entry unlike most that we have created in the past. We were very lucky to have a great client willing to push the envelope and we believe the result was a great project that met and exceeded all expectations. We believe we were able to create an aesthetically pleasing and modern entrance without going ‘over the top’.
