Participation in a show house project is a unique opportunity, it is a blank slate upon which to project ideas that are not client driven. Inspired by the home’s original architecture, Lois designed an intricately carved hood medallion that was adapted from medieval mythology, and which became the springboard for a kitchen that is totally captivating. A unique dual sink island with built in drain and cutting boards provide facing work stations, along with bar seating nearby.
