Mid-Century kitchen update in Pasadena, CA

The homeowners loved their home, built in 1947, for the size and location but were very frustrated with the kitchen and laundry room. These two adjacent rooms were separated by one wall. I developed a floor plan that removed this wall and opened the kitchen up to make a larger room in which I could add an island with seating.
