Client desired a clean, minimal kitchen space with a nod towards a mid-century style. By incorporating the space previously used for an eat-in kitchen, we created a large, trending L-shaped island which allows seating for five. Flat recessed panels were used on the island ends and back lending an eye to mid-century. The backsplash is a continuation of the counter top in Cambria Colton.
