This is a renovation of what was already a lovely, albeit tired Japanese mid-century home on Richardson's Bay near SF.

Wood Ofuro set in a concrete floor with wood slats. Board formed concrete wall carries the glass roof. This little addition gives you a view of the bay and Mount Tamalpaias.

we opened up the entry passage by removing the rood diaphragm and exposing the roof framing. And with that framing we made a trellis out of electrical conduit to play off the new zinc roof.
