We were reluctant to take a wall down to open up the kitchen, because our intention was to preserve all of the original architectural details. After several conversations with a couple of architects who knew the architect/builder of the home we had enough confidence to go ahead. The kitchen is almost complete. We still need a backsplash and lighting.
This is entirely from IKEA, we had a tight budget.
