King House is a labor of love. From paste waxing the floors on hands and knees, to rubbing the walls and ceilings upstairs and downstairs with oil. We first visited this home in 2006 and began the rehabilitation project in 2008. This past July, 2013, we finally furnished the large living room. We still need to complete the lighting and a few details. Our goal was to keep the spirit of the architect, Pierce King, and his wife Dr June Helm, Anthropologist, a part of the reinterpretation of the space.
