I rescued this steel mid century modern table frame from a remodel project during demolition. I fabricated the coffee table top from 2 pieces of reclaimed poplar. The color is the natural patina of the wood, there is no stain used at all. The wood was sourced from the original barn & homestead on a farm in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Southern Ohio. It is estimated the wood was originally milled in the mid to late 1800's.
