We took advantage of highlighting the gorgeous sloped ceiling in this midcentury ranch home by designing a walnut bookcase that goes all the way to the ceiling. The lines are simple, clean, and timeless. We started with the homeowner's fireplace tile choice and electric fireplace and built the bookcases around it providing closed storage below for board games and things to keep out of sight. Above, there's ample space for the homeowner's collection of books (we removed a ton just for these photos but she's an avid reader).

The entry bench and closet was custom built to contain shoes and coats. Topped with a custom bench cushion and throw pillows repeating in the colors throughout the home, this is a functional and inviting entry.
