Generally speaking, the interiors of the flat are an attempt to carrying a simple and basic lifestyle yet convey sensibility towards nature and the elements. With a limited scope of work to finishes and furniture, the client defined her the project intention in three words: space, purity and natural grains. These words set the backdrop context to remove all unnecessary ornament, pay attention to the expression in finishes via natural elements and leverage on their subtle expressiveness to create space. The aesthetic concepts are geared to the function of the space and its relationship with the objects that reside in it. The walls are white, expressing neutrality and aseptic values.
