MM Kitchen Design

A small apartment kitchen redo in a big way. Quartersawn wood floors added with a dark walnut stain and a maple feature strip. A 5' slider added where there was once just a window which opens onto a deck and adds great natural light. Cabinets are a classic Shaker in maple with a quartz counter and glass backsplash. The farm sink, paneled dishwasher and trash cabinet gives this kitchen full functionality with clean lines. The Summit fridge is only 27" wide to allow both fridge and 30" stove to fit on one wall with some counter space between. Open shelving allows for storage without the interference of a door which would bang against the ceiling of the eave. The old casement window was removed and a skylight was installed for good light and cross ventilation. An eating bar was created under the skylight to fit a couple of stools. Can ceiling lighting and speakers installed to finish the great look.
