SLEEK, MODERN, MONOCHROMATIC
The design concept was to translate a very sleek and contemporary style into a softened modernism appropriate to the beach area, as well as the architecture of the home. The concept included a masculine, monotone palette and sleek lines blended with smooth contours and organic materials. The clients wanted to create a unique and memorable space that reflected the young couples’ personal style with plenty of room for entertaining.
The original triangular kitchen island was awkward and created a lot of wasted space. The new island was specifically designed to better fit the new kitchen footprint, creating more space for entertaining while also incorporating the existing structural column.
