Our firm recently worked on this new construction project. The task was to design a 2,000 square foot single story residence to capture the amazing views at this Brasada ranch location. We designed all the conceptual drawings for the residence and then worked along with a very talented designer to complete the architectural plans. The client requested a "modern vibe" for the overall design even though the typical homes in this area are "rustic ranch". The result is a very successful rustic modern ranch house, with shed roofs covered in metal mixing with the more traditional gable roofs which are required. The interior has polished concrete floors running throughout the three bedroom house. In order to meet the clients overall budget we chose to use cabinetry from Ikea in the kitchen and laundry areas while also using solid surface quartz counters. Now that the client is moved in we are in the process of installing the interiors, more finished photos to come as we make more progress
