These clients wanted to update their house with a more modern rustic feel. The original arch-topped windows were removed and replaced with Marvin windows
with a rectangle transom. We replaced the white soffit, fascia, and gutters with all black. The opening was enlarged for a 72” x 96”, 4 lite beveled glass mahogany door. We replaced the porch posts with oversized 10” x 10” natural stained, rough cedar. New cedar shingles were installed on the gable ends. The house and trim were then painted a dark charcoal.
