For this unique staircase design, we created a custom spiral staircase featuring curved steel panels as guardrails. The curved steel panels were later painted black, creating a nice contrasting element to the overall design. Solid oak wood treads were chosen to be installed on this modernized spiral staircase, matching the flooring upstairs perfectly. As you ascend, the handrail transitions seamlessly from being top-mounted to the curved steel panels to being mounted directly onto the wall. A curved, steel guardrail was made exclusively to fit the small area on the second floor.
