Modern White Out

A previously dated U shaped kitchen was demolished and the overall footprint of the kitchen was doubled by moving the doorways and subtracting space for a small kitchen table. The client's wanted a clean, modern open space that allowed for their three children to interact while cooking.

An entire wall of cabinetry and appliances allows us to have an oversized island and base cabinets only in the rest of the kitchen to create the most open kitchen possible.

The backsplash is created from Modarts tiles that are covered in a semi gloss paint to allow ease of cleaning. We also installed two dishwashers, one full size on the left of the sink, and a single drawer on the right for small loads.

The bar top, done in a dark quartz, wraps around what is left of the wall separating the living and dining room. The cabinets on the back side of the island open via touch latch and store any extra seasonal decor.
