Dark Moody Design Ideas - White and Black Kitchen - Art Deco Powder Room - Black Fireplace - Moody Glam Master and New Guest Bathroom

The new high-rise condo owner specifically wanted to open the space, especially the kitchen. She wanted to improve the condo by bringing it up to date, adding some interest, and making it more modern and functional. It was a great space in a well-established high-rise and sorely needed some new love.

The ultimate request was to be able to view the lush landscape overlooking the Katy Trail. This where the challenges really became clear due to the main plumbing lines set long ago in the building. The existing lines blocked the view and provided no room for change.

The kitchen had to be designed around this plumbing column which set the intent for the remaining space.

The existing office area was converted into a Guest room and the existing laundry room was converted into an ensuite guest bath. This changed the unit from a 1-bedroom, 1.5 bath to a 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath unit.
