The Moon Gate project is a transitional space between two garden rooms. The Chinese symbol of heaven and perfecting, the moon gate is a traditional element in Chinese gardens. This particular design uses materials tying it to the larger garden design by repeating the use of basalt and the green iridescent tile in the interior. The design not only focuses views but amplifies conversations had standing in the structure. Enjoy!
