This is a medium-sized kitchen remodel in Northern Virginia. We combined elements of the farmhouse kitchen style such as reclaimed wood on the island base (designed as a one piece) and antique reclaimed wood top on the island. The perimeter countertops are soapstone. The builder grade cabinets were replaced with custom made cabinetry complete with open glass fronts to display the client's expansive collection of pottery. The total time to complete this project was 3 months.
