When The Morrissey Pub called Beyond Beige, their brief to us was simple yet challenging: Make everything new, then old again. They wanted the renovation to look original, with no signs of a renovation at all. Rather, they wanted the pub to appear like it had evolved naturally. Our inspiration came from one loaded question: “If I were a British rock-star, where would I want to hang out?” Alas, The Morrissey. A cozy, eccentric European-style pub that oozes tradition and a lot of rock n’ roll.
