The client bought the home partially built and wanted to create a welcoming home for themselves as they started their family. The home was originally intended for a retired couple and I embraced the challenge of bringing the clients vision to fruition, being savvy to say within their budget
Despite their young age the clients were clear that they didn’t want a trendy feel in their home. I developed a concept that created a traditional home with a contemporary twist. I managed to reuse some of the existing features, such as fireplaces and recessed TVs, without taking away from the traditional foundation.
I’m most excited about the man cave. A curved leather bar with lamina onyx counter creates a surprising corner which impresses guests and creates a retreat space within the house.
