The Mountain Cabin in Blowing Rock is a NC historic property. It was required that the addition to the cabin would not be seen; therefore, large Hemlock trees were planted to shield the view of the addition. The driveway is a brown pea gravel with stone curbing. Pathways are made of large stone slabs. Stone walls & steps compliment the rustic cabin along with the naturalistic landscaping of Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, ferns and perennials.
