Our clients have lived throughout the world, from Ottawa to New York to Europe and have now found themselves nestled into the beautiful mountain town of Canmore. A hidden gem, this single family home provides natural light from every angle. Kept in immaculate condition, this home was the perfect start for the couples new life in Alberta, the only problem was the interior design did not match the clients urban, casual style. The kitchen kicked off the design process incorporating the clients request for an open plan and more counter space. We reworked the layout to provide a wall of 13" deep lower cabinets along with a pantry wall incorporating the fridge and wall ovens. The white cabinets and backsplash created a culinary canvas for the owners. The main floor saw a redesign to the guest bedroom and closet and the upper floor is now an oasis including a loft for reading and an ensuite that would make any European spa drool. The ensuite was reconstructed to include a free standing tub and glass shower with femine details in the hardware.
