Mt Helix whole house remodel

This home was very dilapidated when our company acquired it - many people considered it a teardown however the bones of the home were great. The house was fully gutted inside and out. Every single surface inside was replaced as well as nearly every piece of the home's exterior.

While drawing from many modern influences (including Houzz!) a contemporary style that would compliment the existing framework was chosen. Featuring many natural materials and custom woodworking throughout - our endeavor was to create a fresh bright modern home that would be as timeless in design as possible.

Clear douglas fir was used on the walls and ceiling. A floating bench made out of a log extends from the exterior porch into the entry way.

This rooftop deck is at the homes main level extending over the lower level. The deck is massive totaling over 1100 square feet. A cementitious deck coating was used over plywood decking for best durability. Pony wall/Parapet walls have scupper drains installed for drainage.
