This bathroom is located between two bedrooms. Originally "girly" pink, it was outdated, (we had chosen this in the early 80's) tired, and in need of a total renovation. A facelift wouldn't have been sufficient! I decided on glitz and glamour, black and white, marble and crystal, mirrors and drama. It's a fabulous WOW!! I personally peeled off the pink wallpaper with my client- we couldn't wait to see it go. I chose stark white cabinetry, black marble countertops, crown molding, white gloss tiles, gorgeous polished black marble flooring with white veining, and a bold black and white wallcovering on the ceiling. Placing crystal and chrome sconces on the mirrored wall, and dropping crystal and chrome pendants on the opposite wall, all pulled together to turn a plain bathroom into an extremely dramatic contemporary one reminiscent of Hollywood in the 30's.
