Using the natural woodland setting, we designed a functional garden for a family with young children. We used local Goshen stone, field stone and boulders sourced from on-site to form a linear design that played off the mid-century modern architecture of the home. A palette of predominantly native trees, shrubs and perennials easily blends this landscape into the surrounding upland forest.
