Originally a 1970’s builder grade home, this Kenwood residence lacked a balance in architectural style and quality. What became a multi-staged whole house renovation began with updates to the main level focusing on new & refinished flooring, removal of built-in bookcases and simplifying molding throughout, including a focal fireplace. The homeowners, a young couple interested in collecting art, wanted to create a hip environment to display their current collection yet give them the adequate space to add new pieces over time.
