Any family with multiple children and countless extracurricular activities know the importance of a functional Kitchen. For this Kitchen Remodel, we knocked down the wall between Kitchen and Dinette area and gave the previously rarely used space a functional facelift. In the main Kitchen the island was expanded and the walls got faced with 2,800 thin-bricks. The brick walls and contrasting chandeliers work beautifully with the wood floors and rustic details of the entire extended space, including the reclaimed barnwood ceiling. Another large impact on the Kitchen happened in the adjacent Great Room, where we removed a load-bearing wall.
