This beautiful cedar colonial is a new construction custom home we built for our clients. The foyer displays Georgio Home's signature details: herringbone patterned wood floors, three post staircases, detailed millwork, and ebony stained staircases. The second major design element in this custom home is the kitchen. The kitchen has an open floor plan into the family room and breakfast nook. In this case, the client wanted a kitchen that was both beautiful, yet functional. The countertops are made of carrera neolith and are extremely durable- a great substitution for families with young kids. In addition, we used mixed metal in the backsplash and fixtures, which is a new kitchen trend as it works nicely with the stainless steel appliances to tie together the room. The breakfast nook table along with the kitchen cabinetry were custom designs. Overall, our client was extremely happy with both the functionality and style of their finished home.
