A client purchased an older home in Harrison, New York and hired us to design her foyer, family room, living room, dining room, daughter's bedrooms, and kitchen banquet. She wanted the house to have a more updated and transitional look. A big emphasis of hers was color. We chose to mix bold colors with neutrals to create a look that the client would not tire of. One of the biggest transformations in the house was the family room. The built-in was a white bookshelf with chicken wire covered by curtains. We added molding, a beautiful navy lacquer paint, and new hardware to the built-in to give the space a refreshed look. The finished space turned out beautifully and the client was very happy with our work.
