The original Victorian home built cir. 1890 suffered a total loss to a fire in September of 2019. The homeowners committed to rebuilding the same house in its place. We designed the new home with the historic elements - the turret, the wrap-around porch, the scalloped shingle siding, window and door trim, etc. - but made some changes in the floorplan to fit today's family lifestyle.
Moving the turret to the corner created a space for the family's music room. The baby grand piano fills the space and looks out over the town. The second floor of the turret offers a great space for overnight guests to feel special.
