Roanoke Renovation

This storybook Tudor home was built in 1923. It had basically the original kitchen and only 1.5 bathrooms. We turned the sunporch into the master bathroom to make it a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home. All systems updated and a beautiful functioning kitchen brought this home into the 21st century with all the charm from a century ago.

New mud room has additional pantry storage as well as everyday coats. We filled in the exterior door, but kept the operable transom window above. For historic character, we also kept the original incinerator receptacle.

Traditional Powder room in this Tudor home features black and white hex tile floor, refurbished wall-mount sink with original fixtures that have been re-plated. Floral wallpaper and crown molding on the walls.

The built-in cabinet that housed the radiator for this bedroom/study/office is repurposed as a small desk or shelf. The mechanism for the original casement windows extends through the cabinetry.

Kitchen Before - We closed in the doorway to the left to create more usable space in the kitchen. It also created the Mudroom on the other side.
