Cornflower blue and beige make the living room feel cheery and expansive. Hints of gold catch the light and bring in some sparkle. And to ensure that local family and friends feel welcome in this pied-a-terre, we included plenty of comfortable seating and an open furniture plan.

The condo has two master bedrooms; his and hers. Hers received a pale blue and cream palette similar to that of the adjacent living room. The result is a quiet, restful space perfect for a nap after a long walk in the French Quarter.

His bedroom has a warmer feel; dark woods and saffron tones. He enjoys Asian aesthetics, so we included a subtle Asian motif. Window treatments feature Chinese fans, miniature shoji screens adorn his bookshelves, and his Chinese leaf desk has delicate hand-painted details on the sides and drawers. A window seat nestled between built-in bookshelves is the perfect spot for an avid reader.

The guest room offers a crisp white space with a refreshing pop of cobalt blue. Family and friends will eagerly ask to come stay with this space waiting for them.
