Client had one goal with the remodel: "NO DUST!" She didn't want any space above the cabinets, or anything that would trap and hold dust, including knobs. We installed flat panel doors, and 55 magnetic push latches. Knobs were only on drawers, and matched the Black Galaxy granite. We built a 16' wall of 9' pantries, one of which included charging stations for all their electronics. Drawers in the peninsula were for dishes. Tile wainscot was added to protect from their 150lb dogs. Original appliances were kept because the client couldn't find a fridge with all the desired features. That might change at some point, but it's not a priority. Included a new entry from the garage, into a pantry closet turned mud room with custom storage built-ins. A well thought design that just works!
