North Asheville Renovation

Split level home renovation. This couple had been planning to build a new home but decided to by an existing home in an established neighborhood. The home needed below grade structural improvements, a new driveway and complete interior and exterior renovations.

The renovations consisted of three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, family room and a basement custom home theater. The exterior featured two beautifully appointed custom built Oak garage doors, as well as, a redesigned front entryway. A stone wall lined side entry ramp was created for handicap accessibility and a new deck was built off the master suite for the couple to enjoy their morning coffee.

The transformation of this home was profound.

Gorgeous upgraded kitchen showing the now open concept where a wall at the front right was removed and a bar allows for two bar stools. The owners chose a handmade subway tile in grey for the entire kitchen.

The beautifully renovated kitchen had a load bearing wall where the dropped beam is now which creating an open concept. The cherry cabinets were painted a custom blue Benjamin Moore color. The waterfall counters are Calcutta gold by Cosentino. The copper hardware is a great accent.

Remodeled living room showing the new fireplace surround and the high wainscoting. The built in bookshelves were painted grey to match the Benjamin Moore color used on the wainscoting. The floors were refinished in an ebony color finish.

This master bathroom had a new transom window, a glass surround shower stall and plank tile in a chevron pattern. The new jacuzzi tub by MTI baths is built for two people. The midnight black vanity with quartz counters and Brizo faucets created a slightly industrial yet elegant feeling.

The guest bathroom was was outfitted with a new soaker tub, a skirted toilet and a rustic vanity. The tile is a black slate on the floors and porcelain slate on the walls.

Guest bedroom and office. This office features a Murphy bed built in behind French doors where the bed is recessed in the closet. The new triple window offered the connection to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sit stand desk created a perfect work space for the owner.
