The new space feels vibrant and full of light. The huge peninsula fills the space where the fireplace once was. Walls were removed and openings between the rooms were enlarged. The entry foyer now feels warm and inviting allowing light to shine through the custom Black Walnut slat wall. The powder room features a custom live edge Black Walnut slab to compliment the slat wall.

A new kitchen features a built in fridge space allowing the refrigerator to appear counter depth. The floating Black Walnut shelves that flank the built-in range hood have recessed lighting below. A chef’s range and pot filler were designed to accommodate the best of cooks. The drawer banks flanking the range were customized with Black Walnut to match the shelves above.

The new laundry room has front loading appliances with a space for folding, adjustable shelving for additional pantry storage and plenty of room for hampers. The entire house now has wall to wall wide plank white-washed European Oak floors that look amazing. The renovation looked fantastic and the project was in budget.
