As you can see from the Before and After photos - a complete transformation was achieved! The old worn out and weathered wood fences and deck were replaced: the one fence replaced with a solid stone block wall dry laid using Wiarton Limestone. To screen the unsightly side of the neighbour's garage, a freestanding architectural screen made from horizontal slats was built - continuing at right angles to obscure the shed. Further intimacy was created for this seating alcove by incorporating a pergola. The support brackets are custom made as is the metal railing. The existing grass was eliminated, replaced with Eramosa Limestone mortared on a concrete base, and stunning smooth black pebbles - thereby achieving a low maintenance garden solution.
